History of the Catholic Church in Australia is monthly instalments of a newspaper supplement "The Catholic Story" written and produced by B. T. Doyle and J. A. Morley. The period of Australian Catholic History that will be covered is from early settlement to the death of Cardinal Moran in 1911. To quote from Cardinal Gilroy (1896 - 1977), former Archbishop of Sydney: "School children particularly should find this publication helpful in their study of the history of their faith in their native land".
